Sr. Technical Program Manager, Amazon Logistics, Planning Product Team
Amazon Logistics (Last Mile) is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to advance the level of sophistication and critical thought around planning technologies to support our growing Last Mile business. This TPM will work directly with software engineering, research science, and product to drive new ideas and improvements in Last Mile labor and capacity planning tools.
This role will improve existing tools and create new ones critical to labor and capacity planning at Amazon. You will use your technical and business acumen to work with stakeholders to identify, define, and deliver scalable solutions that enable Amazon’s Last Mile operations to deliver for our customers. You will lead the development of product roadmaps, launch planning, and instill a culture of best-in-class development principles for our product managers and software development partners.
Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail-driven, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills. You will have a deep understanding of product and software implementation details and will successfully represent the technical team to senior leadership and customers.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
