The Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO) for the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is responsible for the maintenance, care and operation of the buildings, grounds, and physical security enhancements of the U.S. Capitol Police, campus wide physical security infrastructure and an off-site campus supporting all legislative branch agencies. OCSO also manages the agency’s internal security programs and policies, including personnel suitability and badging and liaises with other partners regarding security matters. The Command Center Duty Representative (CCDR) Program Manager is to represent the Company, oversee the Command Center Representatives and liaise with OCSO leadership. Major Duties:
In addition to normal duties listed in the Command Center Duty Representative position description, shall have the full authority to represent the Company in such matters as schedules, scheduling changes, employee assignments, performance assessment, disciplinary action, reports and administration. Ensuring all required reports and deliverables are submitted according to identified suspense dates. Perform quality control reviews of all products and services provided by the CCDR. Professional Qualifications/Skills:
Must have a current Top Secret personnel security clearance and the ability to maintain such clearance throughout the life of the contract. Minimum of five (5), preferably seven (7), years of supervisory or team leader experience managing personnel and coordinating the appropriate personnel and/or disciplinary actions in any of the following:
Law enforcement or security Emergency Management Law enforcement, security, emergency management operations centers
Demonstrated ability working in a high-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and the ability to adapt and manage the new priorities. Demonstrated ability in prioritizing assignments based on changing priorities. Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; able to adapt style and tone to effectively engage the audience. Demonstrated ability to write and edit clear, concise, and grammatically correct documents (e.g., reports, special studies, policy, and procedures). Demonstrated ability at building teams, coaching, training, and mentoring employees. Other Requirements:
May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires ability to consistently perform repetitive tasks including filing and scanning. May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time. Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings. Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism. Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Other duties as assigned. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $84,700-$142,100. Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary/hour rate, including but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
