Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Florida (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract Work From Home
Pay: $40/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
• Provide direct therapy services through online platforms, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to facilitate the generalization of skills.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for services and accommodations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Stay current with developments in the field of speech-language pathology and virtual therapy techniques.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida SLP license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an SLP, preferably with school-aged children.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual learning environments is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliable internet connection and proficiency with online communication tools.
