Norton Children's Medical Group and The University of Louisville School of Medicine are seeking a strategic leader to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology for the University of Louisville School of Medicine and Co-Director of the Norton Children's Heart Institute. Norton Children's Heart Institute at The University of Louisville - Best Children's Hospital in Kentucky (U.S. News and World Report 2024-2025) 300-bed Level I Pediatric Trauma Center on the same block as state-of-the-art multidisciplinary outpatient office building. Fully integrated academic clinical care model focused on translating clinical research to state-of-the-art bedside care. 70+ providers serving 19 locations across Kentucky and Southern Indiana. 20+ multidisciplinary clinics. Research opportunities with resources available through Norton Children's Research Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. The Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology will: Advance the program to the next level by constructing and implementing strategies for programmatic growth across clinical, educational, and research programs. Continue building upon a dynamic team of over 40 cardiology providers, providing mentorship to junior faculty members, and growing the team to meet clinical access needs. As Co-Director of Norton Children's Heart Institute, build and maintain strong collaborative and collegial relationships with Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiac Anesthesiology divisions. Leverage a national/international reputation to advance the profile of the Heart Institute and achieve recognition as one of the premiere institutes both regionally and nationally.
