Data Entry/ Jr Data Analyst, eCommerce Job at Akkodis in Columbus

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to assist the merchandising and eCommerce teams in managing and optimizing online product data and site content. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product information is accurate, well-organized, and effectively displayed online to enhance the shopping experience and support sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate product data for assigned categories, including categorization, style variants, and cross-sells.

2. Collaborate with the Buying team to support product launches and ensure proper online activation.

3. Update and organize category pages, product listings, and filters to improve the customer shopping experience.

4. Conduct quality checks on product pages to ensure accurate and engaging content.

5. Analyze site metrics and provide recommendations to improve product and category performance.

6. Assist with creating and managing workflows, including product launch timelines and content updates.

7. Support marketing efforts with product linking strategies and optimized landing pages.

8. Monitor and report on product performance, sales trends, and customer feedback.

9. Research market and competitor trends to provide insights for site improvements.

10. Collaborate with eCommerce, marketing, and merchandising teams to execute initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in eCommerce, data entry, or merchandising (internships acceptable).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerPoint and Word is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Basic understanding of website navigation and content management systems (experience with Oracle/ATG or similar platforms is a bonus).

• Interest in data analysis and familiarity with analytics tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
