POSITION TITLE: DATA ENTRY CLERK

Department: CLCLA2 Firm

Salary: $19.39 - $24.69

Job Snapshot

CLC is seeking a focused Data Entry Clerk to input high-column confidential information into various databases. The Data Entry Clerk will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. Top candidates will be computer savvy, have a keen eye for detail, diligent, and have good interpersonal skills. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that CLC’s data archive is accurate, organized and up to date.

Requirements:

Your Impact on the Mission – Excellence in Advocacy

  • Review client case files and compile a chronological history sheet
  • Download and rename files to input into our databases
  • Compile agendas for our weekly meetings
  • Report on monthly investigator inputs making sure they're on task with their documentation
  • Acting secondary support for investigators during client visits, when needed

  • Computer and technical skills
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Multi-tasking
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent typing, filing, proofreading, and organization skills
  • Ability to be professional, patient, and understanding when taking telephone calls from clients
  • Possess a pleasant demeanor in the office and knowing how to communicate effectively with colleagues
  • A valid California driver's license, reliable automobile and auto insurance are required while working at Children’s Law Center
