Job Description

Mission: Purchase order management and direct purchasing

This is an in-office position located in VA Beach, VA. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm and pays $18-$20/hr depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Enter product data to support purchase orders (POs)
Create part numbers including all detailed information in Excel
Create POs for vendors with high accuracy regarding pricing, delivery, and agreed upon terms
Update product pricing data and keep current
Track inbound shipments, resolve delivery issues, and communicate as needed
Maintain accurate item data within the system (i.e. names, descriptions, UPCs, costs, and pricing)
Maintain accurate records of communications, contracts, and performance metrics
Assist in the preparation of advertising sheets, secure samples, and other related duties with corporate promotional events
Additional duties as assigned by leadership

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous data-entry experience with high attention to detail
Strong Excel data manipulation skills
NetSuite or other ERP experience a plus
High attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Ability to work independently and as an effective part of the team

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
Limited travel (<10%) as needed
