Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer information, transactions, and updates into the company’s database.
- Verify and correct data to maintain accuracy and integrity in all records.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, addressing questions or resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and returns, providing detailed and clear instructions as needed.
- Maintain and update customer records, ensuring that all relevant information is accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their concerns have been addressed and to confirm satisfaction.
- Monitor and report recurring issues to management to help improve customer service processes.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and managing communications.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures when handling customer data and sensitive information.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in data entry or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in data entry or customer service roles is preferred.
- Strong typing and data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data management systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude when dealing with customers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer information.
