Job Title: Rejections Manager / Data Entry Manager

Location: Bardonia, NY
Department: Corporate Billing
Reports to: VP of Operations & COO
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 + Bonus (Based on performance)
Benefits: Full benefits package

Position Overview:
The Rejections Manager or Data Entry Manager are responsible for distinct aspects of the corporate billing operations within our long-term care pharmacy. Each manager will lead their respective teams to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with insurance claims requirements while minimizing claim rejection rates and maintaining high standards of data entry performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Rejections Manager:

  • Lead and manage the rejections team to efficiently handle and resolve rejected insurance claims.
  • Analyze rejection trends to identify root causes and implement strategies to reduce future rejections.
  • Ensure accurate and timely resolution of rejected claims while maintaining compliance with insurance policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies that lead to claim rejections.
  • Train and mentor team members on rejection resolution processes and software tools.
  • Provide detailed reports and performance updates on claim rejection metrics to the VP of Operations and COO.
  • Continuously review and optimize the rejection management process to improve efficiency and success rates.

Data Entry Manager:

  • Manage and lead the data entry team, ensuring high-quality performance and productivity in processing pharmacy billing entries.
  • Oversee and streamline all data entry processes related to pharmacy billing and insurance claims.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with insurance policies to minimize data entry errors and delays.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve any data entry or billing discrepancies.
  • Train, mentor, and support staff in data entry processes and system updates.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in data entry operations.
  • Maintain communication with the VP of Operations and COO on departmental performance and operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in pharmacy rejection management (for Rejections Manager) and data entry operations (for Data Entry Manager), with a focus on insurance claims processing.
  • Strong leadership skills with a background in managing and developing teams.
  • Experience in long-term care pharmacy billing is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and claims processing software.
