Job Summary:
As the Executive Director, you will lead with purpose, passion, and vision to transform the lives of homeless youth. This is an exciting opportunity to guide a dynamic team and collaborate with a network of dedicated community partners, all while driving forward a mission that changes futures. You’ll oversee the delivery of impactful programs, manage financial resources responsibly, and lead fundraising efforts to ensure sustainability. With your strong leadership, you’ll build lasting relationships with donors, volunteers, and supporters, and foster a culture of growth and empowerment within the organization. As a champion for youth in need, you'll advocate for their voices, ensure staff development, and maintain compliance with regulations. Above all, your work will inspire hope and create meaningful change for the young people we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership and Vision: As Executive Director, you will be the visionary leader shaping the future of our organization. Your leadership will guarantee that the Temporary Housing Program (THP) provides a safe, trauma-informed, and supportive space for youth. You’ll constantly evaluate program effectiveness, ensuring goals are met and outcomes are achieved, while identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, ensuring that we always provide the highest level of care and service.

Your work will directly enable the continued success of our mission.
4. Board Collaboration and Governance: In partnership with the Board of Directors, you’ll ensure strong governance and effective oversight of the organization. You will keep the Board informed with regular updates on program performance, financial health, and strategic initiatives, fostering an open, collaborative environment. You’ll also play a key role in recruiting, engaging, and orienting new Board members, ensuring that policies and procedures are in place to guide the organization with integrity and transparency.

You’ll inspire and mentor the management team and staff, helping them grow professionally while ensuring they have the tools and support they need to be successful in their roles. From recruiting and training to performance reviews and staff retention, you’ll foster a collaborative team environment where everyone is empowered to do their best work and make a real difference in the lives of the youth we serve.
6. Fundraising and Donor Relations: You’ll be the driving force behind a comprehensive fundraising strategy, building and nurturing relationships with individual donors, corporations, foundations, and government entities. Your efforts will ensure the financial sustainability of our programs, securing grants, major gifts, and in-kind donations. You’ll keep our donors engaged and connected to the cause, showing them the incredible impact of their contributions and the difference they’re making in the lives of homeless youth.
