We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Engineer in WAYNE, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be tasked with the management of data pipelines and the application of tools such as SSIS, Matillion, Snowflake, and APIs for data integration. This role is situated within the data warehousing industry and requires a keen attention to detail and an ability to troubleshoot data issues.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain data pipelines using tools such as SSIS, Matillion, and Snowflake
• Utilize APIs for effective data integration
• Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting data issues
• Optimize SQL queries for improved performance
• Build and maintain workflows to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure secure data transfer via AS2 and sFTP
• Support reporting needs using Sigma
• Maintain focus on DBA/SQL within the scope of data engineering
• Apply Snowflake experience in day-to-day tasks.• Proficiency in Data Warehousing is essential
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Snowflake
• Ability to use SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) effectively
• Experience with Matillion ETL tool is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Familiarity with other data management tools and software is a plus.
