Dental Intake /Data Entry Specialist:

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customer product information into the database system, playing a key role on the primary case entry team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, critical thinking abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow. Success in this role depends on accuracy and reliability.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive cases, review contents, and identify customer order requests.
  • Enter information on incoming cases into the computer system accurately and generate work tickets.
  • Code cases for data entry.
  • Update computer work tickets as needed to adjust hold statuses, dates, codes, etc.
  • Scan case paperwork for electronic storage.
  • Retrieve previous paperwork from files as needed for case information or reworks.
  • Understand the case flow and schedule of operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills.
  • Strong listening, verbal, written communication, and comprehension skills.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Proficiency with computers and applications, with the ability to quickly learn new software (e.g., Labtrac).
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
  • Strong data entry and typing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with case entry terminology.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology is preferred but not required.

Pay: $18-$19.50 per hour DOE
