Dental Intake /Data Entry Specialist:
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customer product information into the database system, playing a key role on the primary case entry team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, critical thinking abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow. Success in this role depends on accuracy and reliability.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive cases, review contents, and identify customer order requests.
- Enter information on incoming cases into the computer system accurately and generate work tickets.
- Code cases for data entry.
- Update computer work tickets as needed to adjust hold statuses, dates, codes, etc.
- Scan case paperwork for electronic storage.
- Retrieve previous paperwork from files as needed for case information or reworks.
- Understand the case flow and schedule of operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
- Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
- Excellent data entry and typing skills.
- Strong listening, verbal, written communication, and comprehension skills.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proficiency with computers and applications, with the ability to quickly learn new software (e.g., Labtrac).
- Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
- Strong data entry and typing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with case entry terminology.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology is preferred but not required.
Pay: $18-$19.50 per hour DOE
Type: Contract to Hire
