We are offering a contract for a potential permanent position in the government industry for a Finance Data Clerk in San Antonio, Texas, 78212, United States. The role will involve processing transactions related to accounting databases, managing donor databases, and maintaining company websites.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and update donor databases, ensuring accuracy by cross-referencing with other platforms
• Regularly reconcile all donations with the Development team
• Ensure the accuracy of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual giving reports from all revenue streams
• Responsible for the generation and mailing of end of year donor tax letters
• Oversee the submission and data entry of timesheets
• Maintain records of in-kind donation entries
• Assist with the collection and compilation of performance measures for weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
• Contribute to tracking and reporting on fundraising performance, website metrics, assist trends, and other measures as needed
• Ensure that all journal entries have cover sheets and are signed
• Adhere to safety training and protocols on a daily basis, taking precautionary measures for self and others
• Protect the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in service with the organization.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or field.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Demonstrated ability in Billing processes and procedures.
• Strong skills in Data Entry are necessary.
• Experience with Invoice Processing is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform Data Entry - Numeric tasks is crucial.
