Codat LLC, New York, New York, us, 10261
We’re building a united team of exceptional people committed to making a positive impact to drive change in the financial services industry. Our people allow Codat to keep striving to be successful in our mission.
Deepening connections between banks and businesses
Codat helps banks build deeper connections with their business customers by making it easy to access, synchronize and interpret data from customers' financial software. We offer a range specialized products to facilitate the flow of financial data for use cases like underwriting business loans or syncing payment data into accounting platforms to streamline bookkeeping. Through working with banks, who have the greatest scale and opportunity to serve SMBs globally, our ultimate mission is to make life easier for small businesses by enabling all of their systems and services to work together seamlessly. How we hire
We evaluate a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, abilities and values to ensure they are a good fit for the role and company. This comprehensive approach helps in making well-informed hiring decisions. An informal chat with a member of our Talent Team. We’ll introduce you to Codat’s mission and journey so far, and tell you a bit about the team you’d be joining, and what you’d be doing day to day. Come ready to talk about your experience, recent projects, and what you’re looking for in your next opportunity. These calls are a two-way conversation, so please bring us any questions that you have so far. First Interview
An initial chat with the hiring manager for the role, usually joined by an additional member of their team. You should expect a deeper dive into your skills and experience. Whilst we won’t ask you to complete a task ahead of this first interview, it’s worth getting ready to talk about in detail recent projects, your proudest achievements commercially, and what you find most interesting about Codat. Second Interview (Task/Presentation)
So far we’ve talked a lot about your knowledge and experience, but now it’s time for you to show us! We’ll share a detailed description of the task ahead of your interview, but this will always involve testing the very core skillset needed for the role. Think paired programming, a case study, or diving deep into a dataset. This is typically accompanied by a chat with the hiring manager for the role, plus a member of senior leadership for this business area, usually focussed around discussing the task, and assessing the technical skills required. Assessing Excellence Interview
We’ve assessed your skills and your knowledge in depth, but now we want to understand a bit more about you as a person, to ensure we can set you up for success. We’ll ask you some scenario-based questions, which are measuring the key operating principles and core values of Codat, and we’re looking for detailed, behavioral answers. Your interviewers will be two members of senior leadership, from a different team. Offer
The fun part (for both sides!). We’ll call you and walk you through the role and package we’d like to offer you, plus equity and benefits. We’ll follow up with an official offer letter, and attach our full employee handbook. When you’re happy with everything, we’ll send you your employer contract. We want you to feel comfortable working at Codat and that you have a chance to understand more about the people that work here than what you gain from an interview. That's why we run our ‘Insiders programme’. This is an opportunity for you to book an informal chat with someone from another team to the team you are interviewing with to ask questions you want answered about working here. Salary Benchmarking
We use extensive external benchmarking to ensure we pay fairly and to enable us to be transparent with our salary bands. Salary will always be advertised on our adverts. 25 days holiday
We provide every employee with 25 days paid time off, wherever you are globally + 8 bank holidays per region. Equity
We provide equity incentives across all our regions. Flexible Working
We love our office, and love collaborating with each other in person. But there is flexibility as to how much time you spend in the office. Our customer-facing teams are encouraged to be in the office more regularly, but we want you to find the balance that works best for you so we have no set office days. Private Medical Care
Once you have passed probation you will be opted in to private medical cover through Vitality. Life Assurance
We pay 3x of base salary from day one of employment. 401k
We contribute 3% monthly to your 401k.
