Job Description
We have a project installing equipment inside Data Center. This project is calling for a Cable Technician to help with installing Telecom equipment and cables. We need techs that are very familiar with installing and terminating Cat5 Cable, Fiber Cables, and installing switches.

Job is a data center installing cabinets, cable trays, ladder racks, fiber runs, containment, and trunks. Need people with some proof of experience in these areas for the installer levels.
Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work.

Assist with pre-installation opportunities by designing and planning technical solutions.
Promptly provide clear daily updates and communicate effectively with Project Managers, customers, and technicians.
Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
Repair cable poles and towers.
Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational.
Troubleshoot issues with cable networks to ensure the proper functioning and to ensure the system meets local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements.

Requirements:
Experience as a Low Voltage Cable Technician.
Strong background in installing and troubleshooting structured cabling systems in retail environments.
Data Cable Technician with CAT6 cabling, fiber optic, 24v and 70v paging systems experience.
Knowledgeable in multiple termination types for multi-mode and single-mode fibers.
Knowledgeable in closeouts and MDFs.
Ability to work in cramped spaces.
Comfortable working unsupervised and with teams of 4 to 20 other technicians.
