Conference and Travel Policy Analyst, Mid The Opportunity: To grow effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization, our clients need a consultant who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and provide them with tangible advice on business process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies. That’s why we need you, a Conference and Travel Policy Analyst who can analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision. As an analyst on our team, you’ll develop an overall picture of your client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. On our team, you’ll use discussions and workshops with stakeholders and analysts to identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you’ll work on a path forward with leadership. You Have: 3+ years of experience with travel and policy analysis in a federal government environment Experience with project management, including preparing and analyzing plans and specific reports, identifying best practices, evaluating and writing complex reports or documents, and performing gap analyses of existing policies and procedures Experience managing data calls, analyzing conference request submissions, and coordinating conference requests with senior leadership Knowledge of federal government travel policy and procedures Knowledge of developing and maintaining vehicles such as databases or formats, for gathering, tracking, and reporting conferences and costs Ability to quickly develop quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc conference and travel policy reports, and review requirements and deliverables for process improvement Ability to effectively communicate to senior leadership, conference coordinators, and stakeholders, apply a keen eye for detail in conference reporting requirements, and prioritize and independently manage a vast workload Public Trust Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience supporting the Department of Justice Experience developing and maintaining dashboards to support and track component compliance with key conference and cost metrics, including Power BI Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; Public Trust determination is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
