You'll be hands-on, working with the co-founders, managing a workforce of 40 worldwide, growing it to 60 in a year, inspiring creativity, and equipping everyone in the team to challenge the industry’s status quo. Key Responsibilities:
People programs Design compensation philosophies and apply them to both recruiting and raises / refreshers Create an awesome onboarding experience Drive performance reviews and feedback Talent & manager trainings
Manage day-to-day people operations for the US, Canada, and Asia Manage general people ops and salary payments through Gusto Design and manage PTO & expense policies Manage HRIS and other HR-related systems to maintain accurate employee records Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all operating regions
Employee engagement and culture Design and implement a competitive benefits structure that enables employees to focus on creativity. Make our physical office in the Bay Area an inspiring place to work and visit Organize online & offline events so our global team can regularly get together and bond and brainstorm Create an excellent employer branding
Org chart and headcount planning Help co-founders design the org chart Work out budget & hiring plans
Who you are:
Diligent and detail-oriented Great empathy, can read people and communicate well Comfortable working as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-energy environment Previous experience working with executives on people strategies Domain knowledge in HR areas such as benefits, organization design, HRIS Strong working knowledge of all HR functional areas, including onboarding, training and development, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits. Qualifications:
5 - 10 years experience working in HR departments Bilingual being a huge bonus: English + Mandarin Located in the Bay Area (can support our hybrid work) Why Join Us?
