We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary
Vice President of Product, AI Solutions
to lead the development and execution of GenAI-powered conversational agents, insights and analytics, and workflow automations across multiple client groups within NBCUniversal. This individual will oversee both the conversational AI product strategy, enhancing customer interactions through NLP and machine learning, the AI-driven insights and analytics product strategy, and workflow automation product strategy to deliver GenAI-powered business capability to the business. In addition, this role will create and steward reusable enterprise GenAI patterns and products useful to the business. This role is critical in helping our business make data-driven decisions, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer engagement using AI technologies. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders across various divisions and our enterprise engineering team, ensuring our AI products meet the diverse needs of direct consumers, partners, and enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Product Vision & Strategy:
Define and execute the product strategy for both AI-powered conversational agents, insights and analytics, and workflow automation platforms. Align product initiatives with overarching business goals to maximize impact across customer-facing and internal operations. Define and execute reusable enterprise products and patterns. Innovation & Emerging Technologies:
Keep abreast of the latest developments in AI, NLP, machine learning, and data analytics. Identify opportunities to incorporate advanced technologies to maintain the company’s competitive edge in customer engagement, workflow capability and data intelligence. Cross-functional Leadership:
Work closely with engineering, data science, and operations teams to deliver integrated AI solutions. Coordinate efforts across divisions to ensure alignment and consistency in product delivery. Conversational Agents (AI Product Focus): End-to-End Product Development:
Lead the development of AI-powered conversational agents, from concept and design through implementation, ensuring they are scalable, adaptive, and aligned with business objectives. Client-Centric Design:
Partner with client-facing teams to understand customer use cases, ensuring that conversational agents meet the needs of both external customers and internal stakeholders. Focus on enhancing user engagement, self-service capabilities, and operational efficiency. Optimization & Personalization:
Leverage AI and NLP to create more personalized, intuitive conversational experiences for users. Continuously optimize the performance of conversational agents through data analysis, A/B testing, and machine learning insights. Scalability & Global Integration:
Ensure the deployment of conversational agents at scale, across different regions, languages, and customer touchpoints. Insights & Analytics (AI Product Focus): AI-Driven Insights:
Build AI-powered analytics products that provide real-time, actionable insights to various business units, including operations, and content teams. Ensure that analytics solutions help drive data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. Identify and pursue GenAI driven solutions adapting Business Intelligence to the future. Data Democratization:
Lead the development of self-service AI analytics tools that enable different teams to access insights without needing deep technical expertise, empowering them to make informed decisions. KPIs & Performance Measurement:
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI analytics products. Use data insights to inform ongoing product development and business strategy. Team Building & Mentorship:
Build and lead a high-performing team of product managers, provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to foster talent within the team. Implement product management methodology and rigor, including roadmap creation, story templates. Cross-functional Influence:
Work with senior executives and department heads to champion AI solutions. Encourage adoption and understanding of conversational AI and analytics products across various organizational levels. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Executive Communication:
Present product strategy, key developments, and performance metrics to senior leadership. Provide data-backed insights and recommendations to shape overall AI initiatives and business decisions. Client & Partner Engagement:
Act as the primary liaison with internal stakeholders, client groups, and external partners, ensuring AI products align with business needs. Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and technology partners to support innovation. Visionary Leadership:
Ability to define and drive a forward-looking product vision for AI technologies that align with business and financial goals and customer needs. Budget Responsibility:
Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation for AI product team. Operational Excellence:
Implement best practices in AI product development, including adherence to data security, compliance with privacy regulations, and ethical AI use. Ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and usability. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years focused on AI, machine learning, or LLM technologies. Demonstrated success in managing AI-driven products for conversational agents and/or analytics platforms, ideally within a large-scale organization. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, with strong people management skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor and inspire teams to drive product innovation. Desired Characteristics: Experience within the Media & Entertainment industry is a significant plus. Strong understanding of AI, LLM’s, NLP, machine learning algorithms, and big data analytics. Hands-on experience with AI platforms, cloud services, and analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, AWS, or Google Cloud). Nice to have: experience with RPA tools like UIPath and PowerAutomate. Deep understanding of data-driven decision-making processes and experience in implementing advanced analytics models that inform business strategy. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, preferred. An MBA or advanced degree in AI, Data Science, or Business is highly desirable. This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
