Job Description

DSS is hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor in the Dallas, TX area!

Schedule: 1 shift available 7:30 am to 5:00 pm

Starting pay: $19+

Job Duties:

Pulling orders from the list and checking for accuracy
Use of RF Scanner to scan and pack correct items for shipping
Loading and unloading
Operating a forklift to pull orders
Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
Ability to lift a minimum of up to 100lbs

Directly supervises at least two employees within the Warehouse department, including the delivery driver.
Remains mindful of costs and actively looks for more cost-effective methods for the company to use.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Certified forklift operator
Computer skills required: (Inventory Software; Microsoft Office Suite)
Other skills required:
- Customer Service -Highly self-motivated, family-orientated individual

Ability to maintain solid attendance and punctuality
Warehouse experience is a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish a Plus!
