Position Summary: The Senior Sales Director, Business Planning, will work closely with the VP, US Sales, to identify ways to improve the execution and effectiveness of the sales force as they work to improve the care of patients living with rare kidney disease in the US. Effective business planning, account oversight (Zone planning, strategic account planning) and critical partnerships across stakeholders (Patient Advocacy, Medical, Marketing and Sales) will be an important part of how this role will make a difference in the success of the business unit. The Senior Sales Director, Business Planning, will also be responsible for creating the strategies that ensure partnership and growth for Travere in key accounts, academic institutions and other critical accounts of influence. This role will be responsible for developing and operationalizing the key account strategy to increase growth and partnerships with specific organized thought leaders/groups that influence local community nephrologists throughout the US. A critical responsibility will be the creation of a Key Account Plan. This role will align with key stakeholders to identify the key academic institutions that influence the treatment and care of rare kidney diseases and to create a strategy for growth in these accounts. This role will be working with stakeholders to identify appropriate targeted accounts, as well as craft the measurements that will be key indicators of success in improving guideline-directed care of patients living with rare kidney disease in the US. Responsibilities:
Regional analytics and insights to help drive executional effectiveness. Utilize current trends, competition and customer engagements to shape future strategies for the business. Develop strategy and coordinate organizational resources for key accounts, in order to maximize advocacy and use of Travere products. Design process to ensure effective business planning/quarterly business reviews including field-based market and customer insights. Partners on the development of customer-centric marketing and promotional plans and ensures strategic alignment and execution by the sales organization. Develops in-depth knowledge of current and future competition to support execution of sales strategies. Education/Experience Requirements: Minimum bachelor's degree. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered. 12+ years of sales, operations and/or operations experience. Additional Skills/Experience/Requirements: The ideal candidate will embody Travere's core values: Courage, Community Spirit, Patient Focus and Teamwork. Candidate must demonstrate strategic thinking and ability to operationalize and execute against the strategy. Candidate must have significant analytic capabilities demonstrated in proficiency in MS Excel and other databases. Strong professional experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent collaboration skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and manage complexity. Well organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, cross-functional teamwork environment. Previous leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage performance, engage team members, provide coaching, and respond to situations affecting staff. Successful record of creating and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths. Ability to adapt to modification and changes to project plans.
