As a Procurement Manager TPM Strategy, you will be responsible for elevating supplier performance and mitigating risk associated with new and existing third-party manufacturers globally through a diverse series of activities both commercial and operational. The role is accountable to plan and execute initiatives to deliver bottom-line growth through cost savings programs. The individual is responsible for coordination of the initiatives from the initial planning, the commercial negotiation, and the full commercial readiness activities. The role is responsible for liaising with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to understand the TPM processes and activities. The role will partner with the Category Management team and Corporate purchasing functions to understand pricing structure for key components and engage with the TPMs to drive transparency in the overall pricing structure supporting pricing negotiations as required. The Procurement Manager TPM Strategy supervises and monitors key commercial KPIs with specific focus on fostering collaboration and continuous improvement to ensure the highest level of performance.

This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA. What You'll Do Develops and prioritizes TPM commercial goals and objectives, measures performance, and implements corrective actions when necessary. Develops objectives and programs to reduce the total acquisition costs (product/component cost glide paths). Develops and implements consistent performance metrics for TPMs. Responsible for providing leadership in identifying and developing reliable and cost-effective manufacturing processes for all new and existing products/components manufactured by TPMs. Lead cross-functional project activities to set up the supply chain with new TPMs (from raw materials sourcing to manufacturing to distribution). Develop and maintain timelines for the TPM activities in the project, and manage the project expense budget to support the start-up. Responsible for knowledge of TPM business, systems and processes through close work with Quality Assurance, Engineering, R&D, Purchasing, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain, and Logistics. Ensure TPM governance is established to ensure clear roles and responsibilities, review process and commercial metrics. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Division policies and procedures. Evaluates cost/benefit of various financial scenarios and makes recommendations to senior management. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements linked to manufacturing.
