Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).
Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Corporate offices are located in Memphis, TN. Job DescriptionSupervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel and receiving in finished goods, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Follow all safety, environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position.
2. Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.
3. Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies.
4. Delegating and assigning tasks and targets and evaluating the working of staff.
5. Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.
6. Monitor loading and receiving operations.
7. Receive packaged products and inbound supplies.
8. Attend daily production/quality meetings.
9. Cross-train with Operations and provide backup as a Production Supervisor when needed.
10. Conducts weekly tool box training.
11. Monitor inventory.
12. Conduct monthly inventory.
13. Complete all associated paperwork/reports correctly to perform this position.
14. Act as fill in for the job of Superintendent in the area in which they work in the case of an absence.
QualificationsEducation: B.S. related degree preferred; High School diploma or relevant experience.
Related Experience: Experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment is preferred
Equipment/Software Skills: Proficient use of MS Office Word and Excel and Prism. Work also involves knowledge of RF/scanning inventory systems.

Additional Information
Physical: Must be able to walk throughout the plant up to eight-plus (8+) hours at a time, to include walking and climbing up/down stairs and ladders (portable, fixed). Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Sensory: Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
