About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Bayou La Batre. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and organizing the warehouse for efficient material storage and handling. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Experience with inventory management software
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and packaged for safe transport
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Organize the warehouse for efficient material storage and handling, ensuring that all items are easily accessible and properly stored
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials throughout the warehouse

Skills:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will use your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure the accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. You will also use your physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy items throughout the warehouse. Additionally, you will use your communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other members of the warehouse team to ensure that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Finally, you will use your problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the shipping and receiving process.
