Bostwick Braun Company Inc is hiring: Warehouse Associate in Evansville

Summary: The Warehouse Associates responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, & displaying products. Duties might include delivery; a valid driver’s license will be required. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with warehouse management systems preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Adapt to hot or cold working conditions.
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record (for delivery drivers)

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Possess excellent communication skills in written, verbal and presentation formats.
• Ability to establish good organizational and multitasking skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Personal characteristics include enthusiastic, aggressive, self-starter.
