Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. Job Summary:

As Craft Supervisor - Scaffolding, you will lead a team, work with and supervise craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets. This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster, based in Karratha, WA. Major Responsibilities:

Leadership / Supervision Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned. Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft. Planning / Productivity Determines workforce requirements. Coordinates established area operational plans. Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site. Oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive. Safety & Quality Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation. Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. Technical Works with Construction Field Engineers, Leading Hands, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents. Oversees engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Leading Hands and Craft Professionals. Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation. Prior experience on construction projects with knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities. Strong analytical and judicious planning: able to prioritize and balance short-term and long-term priorities. Knowledge of the use of subcontracts, and the contractor and subcontractor’s responsibilities contained in subcontract documents. Experience working with, supervising and administering subcontractors and/or Direct Hire workforce. Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health. Knowledge of project-specific environmental compliance requirements. Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required. Additional Information:

This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.). The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site. This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
