is currently seeking an

Executive Director

for

Faith Mission

in Columbus, Ohio.

Faith Mission

is one of the largest homeless shelters in Columbus, providing meals and shelter to men, women, and Veterans with dignity and compassion.

The

Executive Director

is responsible for oversight of all administrative, fiscal, physical, and programmatic operations for LSS Faith Mission Columbus. The ED will develop, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of all Faith Mission Columbus programs and services. The ED will maintain all applicable accreditations and ensure all programming is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

What will I do as an Executive Director with Lutheran Social Services?

Responsible for all general, operational and fiscal management of FM.

Manages delivery of all program services including outcomes, procedures, and quality assurance; evaluates service outcomes, reviews and readjusts program content in response to shifting client needs.

Directly supervises the Director of Supportive Services, Director of Shelter Services, Director of Veteran Services, and managers of various departments.

Develops, justifies and monitors the annual budget for FM.

Oversees grant, contract and funding source development and compliance.

Oversees policy and procedure process and implementation.

Develops collaborative relationships with LSS departments, community agencies, systems, and institutions.

Works in conjunction with LSS Mission Advancement to raise funds and cultivate donors.

Acts as the FM primary spokesperson and liaison to the community, professional organizations, businesses, congregations and other stakeholders and supporters.

Develops and implements strategic and operational plans.

Acts as the FM representative when conducting any business which has been approved by the Vice President of Programs.

Provides timely and accurate information to the Vice President of Programs regarding the state of the Faith Mission finances and operations; ensures timely and accurate reports are provided to the major funders of Faith Mission.

Requirements for an Executive Director with Lutheran Social Services:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.

Minimum three years' multi-site management experience.

3 years of homeless shelter or social services experience.

Previous grant-writing, development, accounting, and fiscal management experience; and public speaking and public relations experience.

Knowledge of homelessness, poverty and housing issues preferred.

Valid Ohio driver's license, access to reliable insured transportation and ability to meet LSS insurance standards required.
