Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Warehouse Manager to join our team and manage operations at our distribution center in Hialeah Gardens, FL. This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the Distribution Center. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time.
Job Duties:
· Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures.
· Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
· Use software and product scanner to keep records, edit, and manage the inventory flow in the distribution center.
· Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with ERP system.
· Oversee the general maintenance, repair and upkeep of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
· Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling of employees. Optimize employee workflow (e.g., submit requests for the appropriate supplies) to maximize productivity.
· Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
· Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, employee performance, etc.
· Audit and control all company warehouses and their supervisors. Ensure policies and procedures are being followed. Perform cycle counts at warehouses to audit inventory.
· Coordinate and supervise annual inventory physical count. Work with accounting/financial department to reconcile and explain any discrepancies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar management role is required to qualify for the Warehouse Manager position.
- Working knowledge of inventory management software and ERP. (SAP Business One is a plus)
· Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
· Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Excellent organizational & planning skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience preferred. SAP B1 is a plus.
· Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Available to work on weekend, holidays, and overtime if needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate forklift effectively. Forklift Certification is a plus.
