POSITION SUMMARY
The 3D printing industry is one of the most exciting and fast-growing industries in the world today and Polymaker is part of the momentum. Polymaker develops, produces and markets high value materials for 3D printing. Our company is growing fast and can be described as young, open and energetic. Polymaker has been active in the US since 2013. We have built up a network of channel partners who serve end users from all over the States. Our end users are hobbyists, professionals and industrial customers who 3D print high quality parts using our filaments. Out of our new Houston office we currently manage the sales, marketing and operations for the North America region. The Purchaser is a key role in our procurement and is responsible for sourcing and purchasing direct / indirect materials of our production and warehouse facility in North America business. He/she will require to conduct vendor evaluation, costs analysis, order expedition, and manage delivery lead time for both local and overseas. This role directly reports to Logistics Manager and works closely with other members of the production and warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities
- Adheres to specific warehouse work instructions for receiving, sorting, storing, order picking, labelling, packing, shipping as required in accordance to Polymaker standard policies and procedures.
- Meets company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
- Work with warehouse manager to identify areas to improve / enhance overall service performance.
- Operate forklift safely and effectively to load / unload pallets from truck, performs timely inspection and maintain good condition with checklist or service guideline.
- Daily housekeeping for cleanliness and stock utilization.
- Able to perform and complete WMS procedures for daily order transactions.
- Performs other duties as assigned by warehouse manager.
Preferred Experience Background
- High school or above.
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience is an advantage.
- Forklift license certification is preferred.
- Using RF scanner for pick and pack.
