The Warehouse Manager will be heavily relied upon to oversee a team of warehouse associates and help maintain the organization and flow of the warehouse.

Location: Valley Cottage, NY (On-Site)
Salary: The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 per year. The final salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

The Warehouse Manager will be heavily relied upon to oversee a team of warehouse associates and help maintain the organization and flow of the warehouse.
We are currently looking to add someone to the team who can handle the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coach warehouse associates
- Identify and document safety issues and corrective actions
- Ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained in a manner to support a world class organization
- Actively audit processes and procedures for compliance
- Ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the warehouse through daily walkthroughs of each facility. Everyday must be a safe day.
- Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
- Daily reporting of Key Performance Indicators
- Daily standup meeting to review previous day’s KPI’s with warehouse personnel
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
- Training of personnel involved in shipping, receiving, warehousing materials handling, packaging, and assembly work
- A commitment to the concept of “Get Stuff Done.”
- Provide input on labor requirements
- Ensure all stock is pulled and loaded into the delivery vehicle with accompanying and necessary documents, in conjunction with delivery schedules, maintaining 100% accuracy one every order
- Train new employees on the proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities utilized in the performance of their job. Follow-up to ensure results are achieved.
- Manage a monthly scheduled physical inventory and report results back to management
- Open and lock down facilities
- Drive the interfacility box truck as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure the quality of components being packed or kitted meet our quality standards
- Ensure shipments are packed in a manner to prevent transit damage
- Develop processes and procedures to ensure total customer satisfaction, accurate inventory and order picking, load preparation
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.)
- 5+ years warehouse management experience
- Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
- Comfortable using ERP systems and other proprietary computer applications
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
- Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as required by the role.
- Physical Strength: Capable of lifting, carrying, or moving items of a specified weight as necessary for job duties.
- Confidence and determination
- Ability to build rapport across diverse personality types
- Active listening skills to truly understand and address customer needs
- Persistence and creativity in problem-solving
