Your job, as Head of Global Transport within our Global Logistics team, will be to
develop and execute the global transportation strategy , manage relationships with global transport providers including LLPs (Lead Logistics Provider) & TLP (3rd party Logistics Provider) and ensure the efficient and compliant transportation of pharmaceutical products worldwide. You are accountable for driving productivity across the global transport function, managing a budget of ~€300M, and working closely with procurement to lead RFQs,
implement cost-effective transport solutions, and ensure service excellence.

Extensive Leadership in Global Transport
Budget Management and Cost Control
Expertise in RFQ and Contract Management
Transport Planning and Optimization
Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge
Cross-functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
Preferred Skills/Expertise/Experience:
Advanced Education:
An MBA or master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Digital and Technological Expertise:
Experience implementing and leveraging digital tools for transport management, such as TMS systems, route optimization software, and real-time tracking tools. Knowledge of emerging technologies in the transportation space, including AI-driven analytics and predictive tools for decision-making and optimization.
Cultural Competence and Global Mindset:
A global mindset, with experience managing and leading cross-cultural teams in multiple regions. Ability to navigate complex regulatory, operational, and cultural landscapes across diverse markets.
