Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly facility and ensuring that warehouse shipping, receiving, and inventory requests are completed accurately with an appropriate sense of urgency.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and orderly facility
• Help manage the warehouse inbox – responsible for making sure that appropriate actions have been taken on all orders and requests by end of day
• Fulfill orders based on printed releases, ensuring that the inventory is pulled accurately, packaged, and shipped correctly
• Enter data into the Warehouse Release Spreadsheet
• Ensure inventory requests for production are delivered accurately and with the appropriate sense of urgency
• Receive all variety of materials that enter the building which includes unloading, verifying against the packing slip, and storing in the proper location
• Perform facilities maintenance which includes recycling of all paper and cardboard materials, emptying of waste materials.
• Assist on building tickets including re-stocking paper towel dispensers, bulb replacement, and light cleaning duties
• Conduct monthly and yearly audits of client product inventory
• Organize and maintain pallets for daily pickup of mail

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience operating forklifts and other similar type of equipment (preferred, but willing to train)
• Experience using computers and performing data entry
• Mechanically inclined
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Reliable with regular and consistent attendance
• Safety conscious with the ability to perform job functions in a safe manner
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors – visually, orally, and in writing
• Self-directed, continually looking for ways to improve work, eager to learn and grow
• A team player with a cooperative spirit

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift 10-20 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to stand 10-12 hours
• Bend, push and pull carts

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma
