Job Description
Position Objective:
· This position is responsible for daily shipping and receiving and warehouse support at the control level. Rectify inventory discrepancies, mitigate production shortages, and support manufacturing in material needs. This position reports to the Inventory and Production Planning Supervisor.
Essential Functions:
· Complete daily forklift maintenance checklist and ensure all scheduled maintenance activities are completed on time
· Keeping up with daily tasks such as: Shipping, Receiving, put-a-ways, inventory control, kitting, identifying missing parts, staging jobs, and RMAs
· Monitor inventory and execute cycle count program
· Maintain accurate storage locations in FACTS File Maintenances
· File freight claims
o Perform RCCA on freight claims
· Configure shipment loads
· Perform basic inquiries into ERP system
· Understand shipping vendor software and associated paperwork
· Train new warehouse employees
· Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
· Perform other duties as required
Work Environment:
· This position’s job duties are performed generally in a shop or warehouse-type environment
· This position may be exposed to loud noises from operating machinery, cold temperatures, chemicals and vapors, work involving manufactured parts, assembly, and heavy machinery

Requirements
Experience Required:
· 2+ years of warehouse experience
· Experience in basic mechanical work and machinery
· Basic competency with computers: Work/Excel
· Experience in application of basic math
· Ability to operate a forklift
Competencies Required:
· Safety – maintains quality standards and follows all safety rules.
· Detail oriented – identifies defects and ensures compliance with specifications.
· Organization – maintains a clean and orderly work area informs supervisor of any defective or faulty equipment or material
· Analysis & problem-solving abilities.
Education Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand for entire shift.
· Ability to move product weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting, placing, pushing and pulling.
· Ability to work overtime.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
