Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Lead material handler determines order priorities and schedules and coordinates the work of the material handlers. The material handlers deliver palletized materials to both the Production and Packing departments load trucks with the finished product, unload deliveries, place palletized cases in the frozen warehouse, and assist where needed.
Responsibility:
- Always operates the forklift in a safe manner.
- Prepares, picks, and stages customer orders for shipment.
- Places palletized cases in their assigned space in the frozen warehouse.
- Delivers daily Production and Packing Depts. materials to assigned areas.
- Loads trucks with palletized products or materials to be shipped.
- Unloads palletized deliveries to the plant.
- Records documents for material and production products accurately and in a timely fashion and places completed documents in their designated place. Processes SAP functions, including but not limited to Inventory Subcontracting and receiving goods
- Reports malfunctioning of Forklift or other equipment immediately to supervisor/maintenance.
- At the end of the shift or day, connects the Forklift to the battery charge.
- Safely stacks the empty pallets in an organized manner.
- Reports or repairs, as appropriate, any damaged materials generated when operating the Forklift.
- Completes duties in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety, and other company programs and procedures, and in accordance with government codes and regulations.
- Maintains clean, organized, and safe work area, including wiping and washing equipment and tools; sweeping and mopping floors; and trash removal. Reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediately.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the acting supervisor.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- 1 -2 years of warehouse or stockroom experience
- Forklift Certified
Shift: 2nd
Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $21.00
