Job Summary:


The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting and coordinating warehouse and distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies. This position reports to the Regional Service Manager and does not have any direct reports.

Key Job Responsibilities:


  • Requests quotes for cartage as needed, confirms ship dates.
  • Schedules or monitors pickup, delivery, or distribution of materials.
  • Provides routing information to ensure delivery times and locations are coordinated.
  • Responds to customers' or shippers' questions regarding services.
  • Tracks shipments while in transit and expediting orders when necessary.
  • Shows the ability to coordinate production, inventory, and purchasing.
  • Can follow or implement warehouse safety and security activities.
  • Inspects physical condition of incoming product. Can inspect warehouse facilities, vehicles, or equipment and schedule testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
  • Follows standards and procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping products.
  • Follow plans for changes in space allocation.
  • Receives all batteries, charges batteries as needed, monitor batteries during charge times, repackages all batteries and inspects as needed.
  • Orders shipping/warehouse supplies as needed.
  • Can inspect vehicles according to daily, weekly and monthly scheduled guides.
  • Responsible for stocking and rotation of Warehouse inventory.
  • Loading and Unloading of Company Route Trucks and Delivery vehicles.
  • Forklift/Labor support to delivery drivers and other co-workers.
  • Daily clean up routines. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Key Performance Measurements:

  • A score card that reflects performance in areas such as Days Sales Outstanding, Accounts Receivable Turnover, Collection of delinquent accounts, customer satisfaction, cash receipt trending, and issue resolution.
  • Resolving client-billing problems.
  • Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information. Other key metrics prescribed by Concentric Finance & Accounting leadership, resulting in positive customer and Company impact.
  • Other key performance measurements as determined by the direct supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High School or GED Diploma required.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety protocol and procedures.
  • Have the ability to lift a minimum of 20lbs-30lbs repetitively.
