Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm!

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Driver is primarily responsible for utilizing Company Fleet Vehicles, primarily box trucks, to transport materials between warehouse buildings. The Warehouse Driver may also be a backup driver for the Local Delivery Driver, requiring excellent customer service skills. The Driver works independently, with excellent communication and attention to detail to coordinate with multiple teams in the movement of product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Fleet Vehicles to pull or deliver product, materials, and ingredients as needed
• Assisting in putting Raw Materials and Finished Goods in the correct zones after receiving
• Operate various motorized lift equipment to perform routine tasks including, but not limited to, product movement, stock handling, and assisting in loading & unloading shipments as needed
• Daily operating duties may include loading & unloading trucks (as assigned), filling/pulling orders using a handheld scanner, stock repackaging, recording tracking numbers, and shipment staging

• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -

• Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License
• Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
• Physically able to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Experience, Education, and Training -

• High school diploma/GED required
• Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered
• Food & Beverage or perishable goods industry experience is highly desirable

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is subject to the following requirements:

• To see, talk, and hear
• The employee is often required to stand, and use their hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type
• The employee is also required to walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• The employee may need to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Regular use of warehouse equipment and box trucks
• Strong aromas of spice, allergens, and particulates in the air
