Job Description
Role: Production Support Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA & Austin, TX Duration: 06 Months Plus Visa: USC & GC only (As per EC requirement) End Client: Confidential till resume selection Rate: $52 on CTC. Key Responsibilities:
Must have excellent experience with Relational Databases (Oracle SQL). Working knowledge of NoSQL (Cassandra, Kafka) is good to have. Experience of working for 3-4 years as a Java / Back-end developer. Sound knowledge on Java / J2EE internals (Class Loading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc). Experience in making applications production-ready and deploying using Docker, Kubernetes. Experience with GIT for version control. Must have worked in a production environment, handling tickets, resolving production and release issues by debugging Java code and/or working with development teams. Must have experience working with Linux environments (Red Hat, CentOS) and automated releases with Shell scripting (Bash, Python). Strong knowledge of HTTP status codes, ability to clearly distinguish between errors. Experience in ticket handling and management tools (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.). On-call and 24/7 support experience desired. Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk highly preferred), ability to create alerts and set up dashboards, resolve application issues and perform code debugging. Will be working on Production support and Releases for application and software on a day-to-day basis. Please Note:
