Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Warehouse Manager to support our warehouse operations. This role will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise and train staff, and ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and shipping of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all warehouse operations.
  • Supervise, delegate, and train warehouse staff to maintain a productive team environment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receiving, storage, and shipping of products.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee stock control processes.
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures to ensure a secure workplace.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill operational needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Utilize computer systems and software (MS Office, Outlook, and Excel) for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the warehouse team.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in the construction, HVAC, or plumbing industries.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to foster a collaborative and engaging work environment.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, with working knowledge of Excel.
    • Basic math skills for inventory management.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Highly organized with demonstrated time-management capabilities.
