Warehouse Floor Manager Job at ORS Nasco, LLC. in Cypress

As the ORS NASCO Warehouse Floor Manager – Your primary responsibility will be to support the General Manager at the Distribution Center, as the Full-Time Floor Manager. This is Not an office position; the entirety of your workday will be based on the Warehouse Floor. This Floor Manager leads by example, gets their hands dirty, and inserts themselves into all warehouse functions to ensure each day is a success. This position operates various Machines daily to support all Warehouse duties while leading a diverse group of team members, which include Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory Control. You will also interact with internal departments such as Sales, Customer Care, and Operational Support throughout the day.

Responsibilities:
• Manages all aspects of the Distribution Center to include accurate on time order fulfillment and shipping, inventory and quality management systems, and Inbound Operations.
• Maintains a safe, secure and inclusive workplace.
• Experience operating the Order Picker, Sit down, and Stand up Machines
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and audit standards
• Drives efficiencies within the facility using LEAN methodologies.
• Maintains facility tour-ready standards.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of the facility and all equipment (e.g. material handling equipment, wire cutting machines, racking systems, warehouse infrastructure).

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 5+ years’ operations experience, specifically in Distribution center facilities required
• Experience managing a group or team of individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Teams, Power Point, and Outlook)
• Ability to effectively communicate in both group and individual settings
• 5+ years experience of utilizing Warehouse Management Systems and ERP Systems.
