We are hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for our branch in Phoenix.


Position Objective


The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading a team in the warehouse, supports the Branch Operations Manager to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals in the state. This requires the ability to manage employees and individually contribute to retaining customers. This includes supervision of warehouse and delivery driver within the defined geography. The Warehouse Supervisor must understand the overall business of the clients and their requirements to deliver impactful value propositions of AAF/Flanders products


Responsibilities

  • Schedule the delivery of the product to ensure customer receives it in a timely manner
  • Works in coordination with the service team and the warehouse personnel to fulfill orders and to complete the service program of each customer
  • Responsible of logistics to ship product based on the branch and customer needs
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to get all orders ready to be picked up or delivery
  • Maintain ample levels of inventory to meet delivery and service expectations of all branch customers, this includes purchasing of product for the branches
  • Oversee and adjust inventory on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with Corporate Credit Department to determine appropriate credit level and resolve any credit issues
  • Monitoring improvement of processes related with inventory control, closing and invoicing work orders, shipping and receiving, and safety etc.
  • Be available outside regular working hours in case of emergencies within the branch as necessary
  • Responsible for safety meetings, maintain facility environment, health, and safety standards
  • Perform other duties as requested


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) from four-year college or university preferred
  • Five or more years of experience managing others in a safety driven culture
  • Minimum 5-10 years Operations experience within the manufacturing, distribution, and/or service industry.
  • Supervisory experience preferred, including that of warehouse associates.
  • Experience with Voice of Customer, and customer interface within a market
  • Working knowledge of safety and environmental practices and regulations including OSHA compliance and a proven record of improving safety results
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP experience preferred
  • SalesForce experience preferred
  • Driver’s License
  • Good math skills are needed to be able to figure percentages and to verify figures.

  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is partially indoors and partially outdoors
  • Must be aware of people walking in front of oncoming forklift
  • Safety glasses are always required in the production area to protect against dust and particles
  • Closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Sleeveless shirts are prohibited in the warehouse and production areas
  • Up to 10% Travel is required
