REPORTS TO: PARTS MANAGER

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Warehouse position will be responsible for checking in parts and restocking the merchandize. Parts Counterpersons are to provide customer satisfaction. They are to maximize dealership sales in the parts and accessory areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Parts Manager in checking in parts and restocking the merchandize.
- Responsible for the safety and housekeeping of the parts area.
- Sweep the floors and empty the trash on a regular basis in the Parts Department.
- Provide customer satisfaction and represent the dealership in a professional manner.
- Keep warranty parts tote empty daily.
- Assist Parts Manager in purging warranty scrap parts.
- Answer the telephones in accordance with dealership guidelines.
- Provide fast and courteous service for internal, wholesale and retail customers.
- Assist technicians and Service Advisors in a timely manner with parts pricing and the availability of the parts necessary to complete the work order.
- Write purchase orders for parts and sublet work as needed.
- Responsible for completing all paperwork turning it in daily to the business office.
- Responsible for reporting lost sales daily to improve off the shelf availability.
- Provide safe, fast and efficient deliveries and pick ups for wholesale customers when needed.
- Responsible for collecting monies with accuracy and turning in all money and paperwork from wholesale customers to the cashier.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a valid Florida driver license.
- Have good number skills
- Be an effective communicator
- Must have the ability to work with various customers and/or staff members.
- Knowledgeable computer skills.
- Must have good customer service skills.
- Have a sense of urgency in following directions and meet deadlines.
- Be a team player
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Warehouse/Counterpersons will be standing for long periods of time. S/he will be moving around the parts area and warehouse frequently. S/he must be able to adjust to a variable fast or slow environment. S/he must be able to bend, stoop and lift within the parameters of the responsibility of the job.
