Job Summary:

The Sr. Director of Product Management for Supply Chain Detection and Response will lead SecurityScorecard’s product vision, strategy, and execution for our Supply Chain Detection & Response offerings specifically designed to protect and monitor supply chain cyber risks in 3rd, 4th, and Nth parties. This role will focus on developing innovative solutions to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats across the supply chain, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and partners. The successful candidate will possess deep experience in product management for MDR services, with expertise in building products that address complex security challenges in the supply chain domain. The SCDR - MAX and TPRM teams roll up into this role. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Vision

Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for supply chain detection and response offerings, focused on managed detection and response capabilities. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and set strategic priorities for MDR solutions tailored to supply chain security. Communicate the product vision and roadmap across all levels of the organization, aligning stakeholders on product direction and strategic initiatives.

Product Development and Innovation

Lead the development of supply chain-specific MDR solutions, working closely with engineering, data science, and cybersecurity teams to ensure high-performing, scalable, and innovative product offerings. Define product requirements, user stories, and success metrics, balancing the need for both proactive threat detection and rapid response capabilities in the supply chain. Drive the development of automated detection and response capabilities, leveraging AI, machine learning, and real-time data to mitigate threats efficiently and at scale.

Customer Engagement and Market Research

Engage with customers, partners, and industry experts to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring the SCDR solutions effectively address evolving supply chain security risks. Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and beta programs to validate product concepts, gather feedback, and make data-driven adjustments to the product roadmap. Partner with the marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging that resonate with target customers.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with engineering, threat intelligence, and operations teams to drive end-to-end product delivery, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to educate internal stakeholders and support them with the materials and training needed to effectively sell and implement SCDR solutions. Work closely with third-party vendors and partners to integrate their tools and technologies into SecurityScorecard’s SCDR offerings.

Performance Metrics and Reporting

Define and track key product performance metrics, such as customer adoption, retention, and product effectiveness, to measure the impact and success of supply chain detection and response solutions. Generate regular reports and insights on product performance, customer feedback, and market trends, presenting actionable recommendations to the executive team. Continuously identify and address gaps in the product offering, utilizing customer feedback, competitive analysis, and emerging trends to drive enhancements.

Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Experience:

10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong background in detection and response (XDR/MDR) or related cybersecurity solutions. Experience in supply chain cybersecurity is highly desirable. Technical Expertise:

Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and technologies, including threat intelligence platforms, SIEM, EDR, and incident response frameworks, with a specific focus on MDR for supply chain risk. Product Management Skills:

Demonstrated experience in building and launching innovative cybersecurity products, with a strong focus on customer needs, market research, and product lifecycle management. Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, communicate effectively across different business units, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Analytical Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in performance measurement, competitive analysis, and product optimization. Certifications:

PMP, CISSP, or other relevant product management and security certifications are preferred. The estimated salary range for this position is $225,000 - $250,000. Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
