Process Improvement Coordinator

We are looking for a responsible Process Improvement Coordinator to create a culture of continuous improvement across departments by developing and leading training, identifying and guiding process improvements projects within departments, and reporting and implementing project results.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Map the current state of business processes and collaborate with departments to solve problems.
  • Document projects and processes according to department policy, facilitate meetings with management to identify problems, and recommend an approach to address the root causes of problems.
  • Utilize the 5S system and Six Sigma to identify, analyze, and lead initiatives to enhance business processes across departments.
  • Use data analysis, process mapping, and cross-functional collaboration to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
  • Train and build the capabilities of departments and their leadership teams to develop and implement strategy, monitor performance, continually improve, and innovate.
  • Enforce company safety programs.
  • Manage other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in process improvement, operations, or a similar role.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a process-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in process mapping, data analysis, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping software.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and be comfortable using or being on a scissor lift or cherry picker.
