LALA US manufactures Yogurt Smoothie with Probiotics, Frusion Yogurt Smoothie, Crema Mexicana, and Blended Yogurt. Position Summary:

Responsible to receive and load out product and validating picked quantities for all orders. Coaches and develops employees daily to safely pick and load orders with the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements and quantity. Responsible for complying with: GFSI (SQF), HACCP programs, and validating the effectiveness of procedures that ensure food safety/quality standards for all Regulatory, customer, and business needs. Maintain inventories, ensure results of the team, and product rotation (FIFO).

Position hours are 4:00PM - 3:00AM. Schedule may vary week to week. Candidates must have availability to work on weekends to meet cooler facility demands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides expertise of core business knowledge and processes. Executes direction based upon business priority and strategy.
  • Enforces compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Builds collaborative partnerships across departmental lines to achieve departmental and team results.
  • Implements effective action plans with a sense of urgency to solve issues and achieve objectives and productivity of the team.
  • Mentors and coaches “direct reports” by fostering a culture of continued learning and development.
  • Supports corporate strategy by developing team and individual goals, objectives, operational standards and expectations in the order of Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
  • An advocate of change and continued process improvement. Champions new ideas and encourages others to try new approaches to solve day to day opportunities and key business issues.
  • Builds strong, effective high-performance teams. Influences and motivates for strong performance. Improves the performance of others through coaching and feedback. Strengthens the quality of talent through assessment, selection, placing the right people in the right positions. Identifies and develops future leadership and improves overall bench strength. Consistently makes good people decisions regarding recruitment, promotion, and assessment and possesses the ability to make tough but fair decisions.
  • Shall be responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
  • An “Out Of Office” reply for emails must be set with the nominated backup’s personal contact details, when absent for more than 2 days.
  • Finished Goods (balance movements into SAP and physical, in – out). Keep equipment in good conditions, store the product in a good way and ensure FIFO, aware of scrap.
  • Responsible for meeting assigned metrics and performance of the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Ability to adapt to changing operational and organization needs.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
  • Ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems.
  • Experience in using SAP.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • This position requires regular and prompt attendance during the working hours scheduled by the Operations Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma. Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
  • Five years of experience in a related role.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a comprehensive background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process
