Primary Purpose and Functions:
Accurately fulfill customer orders, monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation while meeting overall Fulfillment/Warehouse Department goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform case picking duties with showing consistent results of achieving the standards
- Ability to understand and be able to perform picking of FG, Bulk and MFG Comp. production orders and showing consistent results with achieving standards across each profile
- Basic knowledge of using JF Floor and Microsoft NAV
- Clear understanding of the ASN requirements on our UCC-128 EDI customers for LTL, ability to process case labels via pack-line scanning through NAV along with clear understanding of label placement requirements by accounts
- Understanding of the Manufacturing hall return process and ability to process and reclass returns with proper inventory movements
- Can perform at or above standard for our item reclass accuracy
- Clear understanding of the inventory cycle count program for Megafood, along with having the ability to perform independent cycle counts as needed across the department (Including all Materials ex. FG, FGOS, Raw Materials, Supplies)
- Ability to perform required sanitation between both 8 and 11 Delta for our Daily/Weekly major and minor required cleans are required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Powered Industrial Truck Functions:
- Proper inventory put-away into overstock bin locations with a forklift
- Evaluate Default locations and replenish stock as needed
- Supports LTL picking with large volume items being picked from overstock vs. default locations
- Generate reports on inventory balance and shortages
- Researches discrepancies in inventory
- Count merchandise in stock and post totals to inventory records
- Coordinate with shipping coordinator to ensure all outbound shipments are moving out of warehouse as scheduled
- Positions forklifts, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting devices. Must be able to document information as per SOP
- Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and/or cGMP guidelines
- Ability to perform daily inspections of warehouse equipment
- Understands the pallet put-way / replenishment process and may be powered industrial truck certified in performing these functions on a daily basis
- Ability to follow SOP and work instructions within the areas of responsibility
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior warehouse/inventory experience required
- Certification for and evidence of safe and effective operation of powered industrial truck (forklift)
- Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Safety sensitive position
