Job description\r\nJob Overview\r\nWe are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, packing, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\r\n\r\nResponsibilities\r\n- Gathers inventory items from warehouse storage and stocks in picking area to facilitate efficient shipment preparation.\r\n\r\n· Prepares and packs shipments for customers following delivery ticket instructions to ensure correct inventory items are picked.\r\n\r\n· Uses shipping software in an appropriate and efficient manner to ensure that deliveries are sent to the correct customer.\r\n\r\n· Enters shipment into package processing system to prepare shipping label according to established procedures.\r\n\r\n· Organizes packages ready for shipment according to established procedures and requirements of delivery service.\r\n\r\n· Notifies supervisor of any system or production issues that may affect the ability to meet shipping production goals.\r\n\r\n· Completes work in an organized and efficient manner in order to meet the shipping production needs of the company on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.\r\n\r\n· Receives and moves products received to assigned warehouse area as needed.\r\n\r\n· Assists with ongoing maintenance and organization of the warehouse as assigned.\r\n\r\n· Performs job responsibilities within established regulatory guidelines and reports non-compliant activity to a manager; protects teammate and company confidentiality in all matters of processing documents.\r\n\r\nRequirements\r\n· Two years of shipping functions in a high production distribution facility.\r\n\r\n· Familiarity with automated office equipment including computers, warehouse systems, copiers, and telephone systems.\r\n\r\n· Thorough working knowledge of warehouse safety policies and procedures\r\n\r\n· Able to lift 40lbs\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n- High school diploma or GED\r\n- Materials handling experience\r\n- Inventory management skills\r\n- Knowledge of warehouse management systems\r\n- Familiarity with inventory control processes\r\n- Experience in heavy equipment operation\r\n- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills\r\n\r\nJob Type: Full-time\r\n\r\nPay: From $15.00 per hour\r\n\r\nExperience:\r\n\r\n\r\nOrder fulfillment: 2 years (Required)\r\nWork Location: In person
