Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Reports To: Warehouse Manager or Supervisor

Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

1. Receiving and Inspection:

• Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damages.

• Verify shipment contents against packing lists and purchase orders.

2. Inventory Management:

• Organize and store inventory in designated locations using proper methods.

• Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

3. Order Fulfillment:

• Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy.

• Prepare items for shipping, including labeling and documentation.

4. Shipping and Delivery:

• Operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to load outgoing shipments.

• Ensure proper handling and packaging to prevent damage.

5. Safety and Maintenance:

• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

• Report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly.

6. Equipment Operation:

• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.

7. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with team members to achieve productivity goals.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding progress and challenges.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.

• TWIC Card Required.

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

• Exposure to varying temperatures in the warehouse.

• Full-time with potential for overtime during peak periods.
