We are seeking an experienced recruiter to research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for Muir Wood. This position is vital in selecting and engaging talent to assist and serve our clients. They will be responsible for designing and implementing an overall recruiting strategy, perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives, source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, etc., and be the point of contact during the selection process.
Requirements:Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Partner with all departments to determine staffing needs within the organization.
- Source candidates using various search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
- Local travel is required to recruit at colleges and job/career fairs.
- Manage job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
- Screen resumes and job applications, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments, and make recommendations for hire (or not hire) for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
- Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Follow up with management to ensure updated information on the interview process status.
- Manage current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection are done by employment laws and regulations.
- Perform background and reference checks.
- Complete weekly report on recruiting activity.
- Coordinate the pre-employment process.
- New hire onboarding coordination.
- Employee file management - coordinate with other team members for HR compliance and record maintenance.
- Other responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years of recruiting experience
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, LinkedIn recruiter, social media, etc.)

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 based on education and experience
