We are seeking a dynamic Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent (RN, LPN, PT, OT, CNA) within the healthcare sector. This role requires a proactive approach to talent acquisition, utilizing various platforms and strategies to identify qualified candidates who align with our organization’s needs. The Healthcare Recruiter will play a crucial role in building a strong workforce that enhances patient care and supports our mission.

Position Responsibilities :

Ensure that we are hiring the best possible talent by:

  • Working with the Skilled Administrator/HR on recruiting planning meetings.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Build networks/cold calls to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Post openings in newspaper advertisements, social media, professional organizations, and in other position-appropriate venues.
  • Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
  • Coordinate recruiting initiatives.
  • Attend career/job fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
  • Attend group meetings, School/University events, and community events, and increase awareness of the company before and after career fairs.
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Conduct prescreening interviews.
  • Perform reference checks for potential employees.
  • Work with HR to onboard and orient new hires.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate/College degree preferred.
  • Experience with recruiting, healthcare recruiting is a plus.
  • Current or recent College Graduate majoring in relevant field.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, community canvassing, career/job fairs, and maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully.
