Job Description
DCI Donor Services, Inc. (DCIDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! Our mission at DCIDS is to save lives through organ and tissue donation, and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work!! DCI Donor Services is seeking a Recruiter to join our team! This position will serve as the primary resource for identifying potential candidates for hire and guiding them through the selection process. This is a highly visible position that interacts with both front line team members and leaders.
Below are some of the key accountabilities this position will hold:
- Implements recruitment strategies to meet and anticipate hiring needs.
- Develops key advertising methodology to identify qualified candidates. Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, job boards, and targeted search groups.
- Oversees the recruitment selection process to include pre-screening, interviewing, compensation strategy, background screening, and extending employment offers.
- Schedule candidate interviews, including travel arrangements, and provide hiring teams with the materials needed to support the interview process. Arranges interviews using The Who Process. Ensures proper documentation is retained for each interviewed candidate.
- Provides recruiting metrics and recommends opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job postings and hiring criteria.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Maintain regular communication with hiring managers and keep all stakeholders informed of recruitment progress and actions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
2+ years recruitment or HR experience
Strong organizational and prioritization skills that ensure consistent progress for all assigned vacancies.
Strong customer-service orientation.
Ability to build relationships, recruit candidates and make selection decisions.
Strong computer proficiency, especially with Word, Excel and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
