Carlton Staffing is looking for someone with strong customer service mentality, strong administrative skills, and previous staffing industry experience.

A Day in your New Life

You work from home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week. On an office day, you arrive in your office at 7:15am because you like to avoid the worst of the traffic and you want to get settled in and be ready to start the day when doors open at 7:30am.

After you’ve checked voicemail and responded to urgent emails you huddle up with the Staffing Consultant and the Branch Manager for your daily meeting where the first topic of conversation is excitement over the amazing career fair you attended yesterday! You met with so many talented job seekers and your partner offers to help you follow up with all of them today. Then you discuss carpooling for the company’s quarterly awards dinner next Thursday evening and arrange branch coverage for the training seminar the following week. Once those ducks are in a row you catch up on each other’s activity from yesterday and iron out what your marching orders are for today.

You spend the morning doing back-to-back interviews which exhilarates you because the time flies and meeting new people is your favorite part of this job! When your last interview ends at noon you quickly eat the leftovers you brought from home while you run background checks on the candidates you interviewed that morning.

You start making your afternoon calls to job seekers and the rest of your day passes in a blur of phone conversations. Your partner only comes up for air once to crack a quick joke, then you’re both diving back into the trenches. At the end of the day you feel like you’ve run a marathon, but you’re filled with pride and a sense of accomplishment over the job seekers you’ve connected with and the relationships you’ve fostered in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 1+ years working for a staffing company as part of the internal team.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment that requires self-management and multi-tasking.
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally in both one-on-one and group presentation situations.
• Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.
• Must be able to operate well in a team environment.
• Able to handle multiple problems simultaneously.
• Excellent computer skills.
